Children's Ministry

ABEFC’s Children’s Ministry seeks to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment in which Bible-based teaching and Biblical example allow children the opportunity to come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and to grow spiritually in the Lord.

Volunteers at the Welcome Center on Sunday morning are happy to direct you to the age-appropriate classrooms. You can also contact the church office during the week if you have any questions.

Sunday Children's ClassesContact

Our Children's Ministry offers children's classes during both worship services and adult classes. We encourage families to worship together. After singing, the children are dismissed to their own classes. Visit the Welcome Center on Sunday so we can help find the right class for you.

Toddler NurseryContact

We provide nursery during each Sunday service. Infants up to 1 year will be in our Infant Nursery (Rm 102). Toddlers from 1 year to 2 years will be in our Main Nursery (Rm 103). Both of these rooms are downstairs off of the gym.

Your children are welcome in the service, but if they are having a difficult time, please use our Family Room (Rm 303) with a live video feed. We also provide a Nursing Mother's Room (Rm 304). Both of these rooms are upstairs.

The nursery is also available during the Women's Bible Study, Mom to Mom, and at other various events throughout the year.

Awana is an international ministry that assists churches in reaching children with the gospel of Jesus Christ, with a strong emphasis on memorizing the Word of God.

Each week at an Awana club meeting, children will memorize Scripture, listen to a Bible lesson, sing character-building songs, play games, and enjoy other fun activities and special events.

At ABEFC, Awana meets on Sundays during the school year from 4:30-6:15 PM (check-in starts at 4:30). We have clubs for age 4 (by September 30), K-2nd grade, and 3rd-6th grade.

For 2019-2020, our Awana program runs September 8 through May 3, and kids can join at any time.

Each summer ABEFC offers a week-long Vacation Bible School in June for children 4 years old (by June 1) through students going into 6th grade.
We use the Answers in Genesis VBS program. With a different theme each year, kids learn about Jesus Christ through a variety of games, songs and other activities. VBS is a great environment for learning and making new friends! It's always a fun and rewarding week.
